While crying and waving around an opened switchblade, Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson said he “didn’t want to have to hurt” fellow candidate Donald Trump, but that he might have to.

The response comes after Trump viciously attacked Carson’s character in Iowa, calling Carson “pathological” and “damaged” in relation to violent incidents from his youth.

In one incident, according to Carson, Carson attempted to stab a relative, but failed when the knife caught the intended victim’s belt buckle and broke.

In another incident, Carson went after his own mother with a hammer. Boys will be boys.

Trump went on to seemingly state that Carson’s teenage violence was a pathology on par with child molestation.

Carson said he doesn’t understand why Trump is being mean to him, and that he just wants to be left alone.

“I am running for the highest office in the land, and I believe we should conduct ourselves in a respectful fashion,” said Carson. “However, if you you must insist to keep talking all this shit, then you better drop dime on the biggest belt buckle money can buy, motherfucker.”

“Bitches get stitches,” Carson added before awkwardly rushing off stage.
