Presumptive Republican presidential nominee and former comedian Donald Trump has announced that George Zimmerman will be taking control of his controversial campaign effective immediately.

Trump, who is no stranger to swimming against the stream of political correctness, said Zimmerman was a natural fit for his campaign.

“I once said I was so beloved that I could shoot somebody in the street and get away with it,” said Trump. “Well this man actually did!”

Trump went on to point our that his selection of Zimmerman as campaign manager was a political twofer.

“I already told you all I loved Hispanics,” said Trump. “But what you probably didn’t know is I also love Jews! Zimmerman’s a Jew name, right?”

At press time, political analysts were torn as to whose reputation was more damaging to the other.
