The entire population of the United States has made a formal suggestion for Rick Santorum to kindly STFU in response to his recent commentary on gun violence in schools.

“How about kids — instead of looking to someone else to solve their problem — do something about maybe taking CPR classes or trying to deal with situations that, when there is a violent shooter, that you can actually respond to that?” said Santorum unironically during a television broadcast.

The comment sparked the entire nation to collectively face-palm before kindly suggesting that he learn to STFU.
