After eight years together, the celebrity power couple of Beyoncé Knowles and Jay Z have decided to split.
The event occurred in public for onlookers to see.
“Bae and Jay are confident that they made the right choice,” said the power couple’s publicist Barry Manilow.
Details are in short supply, but according to several eyewitnesses the couple shared a single menu item at a local sandwich shop in Hollywood.
According to mainstream financial opinion, the decision likely saved the couple upwards of 11 dollars.
Mike Loki, owner of the sandwich shop, said he was honored that the couple would choose to split a sandwich at his establishment.
