Dunkin’ bankrupt after going all in on seasonal “blumpkin’ spice” blend

Coffee industry titan Dunkin’ Brands is in financial ruin following a disastrous decision to completely re-brand the company around their new seasonal “blumpkin’ spice” flavor. Dunkin’ Brands completely re-branded their 11,300 stores around the seasonal flavor. Dunkin’ leader shippinned the error on trusting outdated Census data that did not reflect the current tastes of the population.
