Poorly rated President Donald Trump has unveiled plans to plagiarize in its entirety President Thomas J. Whitmore’s rousing speech from the 1996 blockbuster film Independence Day.

Trump said the move saves the U.S. taxpayers precious money that can later go to Trump businesses.

“The speech is already made, so we won’t be wasting money to pay some stupid writer,” said Trump. “And it fits right in with my hate of aliens.”

Trump also scored a rare PR win by signing an official condemnation of the creative forces behind last year’s Independence Day: Resurgence.

Roland Emmerich, the director of Independence Day films, appeared in a press conference to apologize for making the sequel and confirm that Boomer lives.
