Linguist and influential intellectual activist Noam Chomsky is in potential hot water after documents released as part of the Panama Papers leak have revealed personal links to a mysterious business.
Most of the documents show Chomsky is heavily invested in the consent manufacturing industry.
However, Chomsky’s name is also linked to a sole outlier, a mysterious shell company operating under the name “Syntactic Sensuals,” which has analysts like Samuel Wordsmith confounded.
“It sounds linguisticy at first, but then the second word makes it sound kinda sexual,” said Wordsmith.
When asked to comment on Syntactic Sensuals’ activities, Chomsky replied with “colorless green ideas sleep furiously,” he then winked and the title credits rolled.
