Pokemon Go, an interactive, roaming game designed for cell phones, is responsible for thousands of pedestrian-related automobile accidents according to a report released by the U.S. Department of Transportation.

The report was not all doom and gloom, however.

According to lead researcher Satoshi Tajiri, the health benefits of increased exercise among gamers will almost certainly lead to net-positive gains for society.

“We may lose a few along the way, but the losses will be dwarfed by increases in quality of life and life expectancy,” said Tajiri while fiddling with his cell phone. “Sick! Caught a Charmander!”
