Shameless, product placement-laden Gravity takes in record-breaking October haul

Gravity, the latest film from Alfonso Cuarón, set an October opening weekend record of 55.6 million last weekend.

The film conveniently focuses on two astronauts, played by George Colony and Sandra Bullocks, adrift in space following the government shutdown.

As if this government shilling weren’t enough, NASA receives a nauseating amount of product placement throughout the film.

Which, if you ask this movie buff, is a cryin’ shame!

If you’re into space and Orwellian propaganda, this is the movie for you.
